I transformed this ordinary chair into a functional dog bed. I first took apart the chair and lightly sanded it. I then attached plywood cut to size for the frame of the bed. After it was attached I sanded the chair lightly again and painted the chair. After, I then applied a dark wood stain to create the antique look.
