Overview.
Working once again with VFX supervisors Erik Nordby and Pete Dionne, MPC Design was tasked with creating over 300 unique brands to fill the Pokemon city of Ryme city.

A mix of street level and building signage was needed which the majority needing to be Pokémon themed. We not only designed the graphical content but we were also required to invent a bespoke language system that could then be used throughout the city. A large range of graphic elements both 2D and 3D were then delivered to MPC film to be converted into CG structures and placed around the city to complete the shots.

One particularly challenging element was the legal clearance and approval required from the multiple clients involved in the project.
