Unfortunately its been so long that I lost my post-it sketches with a myriad of crazy concepts, but this was the first version of concepts presented to the client. Little nuances in each box set it apart from each other but they all played into Spiderman's ethos.Top left the pull tab was clearly inspired by his web slinging. Bottom Left was inspired by all the iconic scenes when the web head shows up upside down, so why not have the messaging on the top lid also be upside down for influencers to have fun with it. Top right was inspired more from a collector stand point. We all know how important these comics are to us, especially a character like Spiderman. Bottom right were inspired by the multiple layers Peter has to maintain in as a superhero, a student, a journalist... sometimes lover :)  

For round 2 the client had decided to move forward with "The Collector Box" and we moved into colors and texturing. Here I probably had even more fun looking at exclusive behind the scene artifacts, if my eyes could turn into hearts the would've been! I wanted to to pay homage to the amazing new suit, which clearly I'm a fan of. But also wanted to show something clean sporting the classic red and blue with a splash of black and white....um symbiote?

Round 3. We delve deeper into organizing the content once the list was finalized. I was able to pull measurements and have a rough idea for conversations with our production team who would bring this idea to life! on top of the schematics I also flushed out the 3d model a little more so textures, colors and item placement were visible for reference. 

Final piece! after we worked out some kinks and budget guardrails we created a kit that was 99% true to its concept. we had to forgo the blue foam :( we couldn't get it in time for launch and the price was substantially more than allocated. Nonetheless, this kit came out SUPER stellar! totally did not meant to make a pun back there... ;)
