In May of 2010, the City of Santa Monica awarded Trailer Park the opportunity to work with most respected public transit system in all of Southern California, the Big Blue Bus; this marked the first time that the City of Santa Monica had awarded work to a full service agency.

There were two challenges that were placed upon our agency upon accepting what has become a multitude of print work throughout the City of Santa Monica and the Greater Los Angeles area:the first was to notify consumers that fares were increasing during a down economy in a light-hearded way as not to offend them. One of the most difficult parts of the first phase, which continues to be well received by the community, was to also convince seniors specifically that the fare increase was a necessity to continue the service theyve grown to love over the years.

The second phase, which is still ongoing, included convincing consumers to purchase a bus pass vs. using change. Although its too early to retrieve statistics, weve received extremely positive feedback from not only our client team, but from both the very consumers whom we advertise to as well as City Council.
This print ad appeared during the first phase of our fare campaign in the Santa Monica Mirror, a local publication within the Santa Monica, CA community.

This E-Blast was sent out during the first phase of our fare campaign to riders who opted in via the Big Blue Bus website.
