adidas Handball Spezial x Stabil OG x Boost
For the 40th anniversary of the Handball Spezial's release I sought to combine handball's legacy with Handball's current range to create a cross model pack utilizing two iterations of the upper across both the archive and modern tooling.
The archive model took inspiration from the original Stabil OG model which is now on it's 10th iteration utilizing a mesh quarter alongside the traditional pigskin overlays.
The modern one also took cues from the OG Stabil with synthetic suede overlays paired with the pigskin upper know for the OG model. The modern was branded with the badge of sports and was worn by professional players in the league.
