Marília Meteorite

Marília Meteorite
This is a project for my first solo art exhibition, which happened on 10/04/2019 at the Marilia Municipal Theater "Waldir Silveira Mello", in the city of Marília, state of Sao Paulo, Brazil. I was invited by biophysicist and astrobiologist Ivan Gláucio Paulino Lima of the Blue Marble Space Institute of Science (https://www.bmsis.org/) and NASA Ames Research Center (https://www.nasa.gov/ames) to the carrying out the artistic concept project of 5 works of one of the few meteorites that fell in Brazil, specifically the meteorite (chondrite) that fell in Marilia on 10/05/1971, at 5:30 pm (local time). The meteorite shattered into pieces at an altitude of about 15 km, and the pieces fell to various parts of the city. More about thismeteorite fall you can check out this link: http://ppegeo.igc.usp.br/index.php/rbg/article/view/12466/12026.
In this project, I sought to represent the path taken by both Marilia Meteorite and any Meteoroid or Asteroid, from its trajectory from the Kuiper Belt (or any other asteroid or comet belt), to its fall as a meteor on Earth, became a meteorite.
