FUI Design - The Water Crisis Problem

Story
We thought that we could live off the fresh water resources of our Earth. We exploited it so much that it became impossible to stop it from going scarce. Something had to be done, so we sent multiple search parties to different parts of our Universe in search of water. One of the elite search parties was tasked to scout Mars for water… but in vain.
The Screen
The FUI (Futuristic User Interface) is of a rover information system for tracking the status of the deployed rover. Each individual of the search party has access to one rover which can be tracked using the RT-22 Case.
The Process
Layout and FUI Composition
The layout along with the elements of the FUI were designed in Adobe Illustrator. These designs were then taken to Photoshop for further refinement and color corrections.

3D Model and Scene Design
The 3D Model and the Space Scene were all designed in Maya and rendered using the Redshift renderer.
Further Refinements
The renders were then composited using Photoshop. Effects like Screen glare were added to make the screen feel realistic. Further color corrections were done in the process.
Collaborators
The guy responsible for the whole 3D process - from the design of the case to setting the lights and the environment for the 3D scene and the redshift renders.

A special thanks to my mentor, Marti Romances, for guiding me throughout the past three months and refining me as the FUI designer I have become. So much of invaluable experience and a golden opportunity for me as a starter in the industry!
