Aztec Pulse is a Deathmatch/Team deathmatch multiplayer map I produced for Unreal Tournament. I created this map within Unreal Development Kit.
 
The first thing that came to mind when creating this map was, it had to have a really nice flow to it. The layout for extremely important for multiplayer. Players had to be able to travel around the map with ease. Unreal Tournament is a fast paced game for anyone who has not played it. I took this into consideration when developing the map. I made sure there was enough from for double jumping around corners. I also took into account that each side had to be very similar to its opposing. The reason for this is so that there is not one side that has any advantage and so they are all fair, which is vital when it comes to balance within a multiplayer map.
 
The underground section of the map i believe works well with this layout. Extra ammo and armor can be picked up from several different locations underground. Both sides of the map can access the underground area by the railing stairs.
