Green Is The New Black-Plastic Salt
Green is The New Black wanted to raise awareness of the shocking fact that 90% of the world’s salt contains microplastic. We took recycled plastic and turned it into 3D-Printed miniatures that looked just like salt. A few days before World Earth Day, we placed our “Plastic Salt” grinders at restaurants across Singapore. Once people realized their salt was actually plastic, a QR code at the bottom of the grinder directed them to Greenisthenewblack.com/plasticsalt to take action against single-use plastic and learn more about the project.
