Technically speaking what we inhale is not steam ( steam is water vapour at 100 deg C ), or else can you imagine what would happen to our nasal tracts if our body at 37 deg C comes in contact with steam at 100 deg C ! We inhale water vapour of temp 43-45 deg celcius and 100% RH . Aquahale uses a 12 V rechargeable battery that raises the temp of water just sufficient for inhalation in mist form . 20 ml of water , can make the inhalation last for 15mins .
