This project was my Advanced diploma project. I developed it over a year. The unit is a modular storage unit that is designed to be used in vehicles. The units clip together on there width and can be locked atop one another. There are two different lid options, one is a fixed lid and the other is an opening lid. The main body can be used as an open container on its own or used with the door (which can be made to open either to the left or the right). The units can be secured into the vehicle with a turn buckle style arm that secures into location indents in the side of the unit and pushes against the vehicle with a rubber pad. This stops any damage to the vehicle or any modifications being needed. The units are weather resistant and can be securely locked.
