Press F to Pay Respects | Typographical Poster

This project that began in late November was based around the idea of designing a typographical poster that would help present a literal-narrative for the phrase “Press F to Pay Respects”, by the way of a visual style that combines minimalism and simplicity together.

As you will see, the final outcome consists of the phrase being displayed in a corner, under a bold sans-serif font, alongside an illustration that depicts the letter “F” looking down in sadness, with a tear rolling down the letter itself to help further aesthetic detail.

For the display mockup, I decided to place the final outcome within an A2 sized poster that is held up by a person at chest height in order to help viewers get a better understanding of just how big the poster would actually be, should they themselves be physically holding it.
