This is my second piece in my ap art concentration I decided to work with bees as they are insects that can fly. This piece was a challenge for me because I decided to do it on wood panel instead of canvas and I wasn’t sure how the oil paint would act on it. It ended up looking a bit more texture than I would like showing some streak lines of the paint because it doesn’t really absorb it. But the one pro of panel is that the dry times of oil are significantly less than canvas.
