I am not a master “of the symbolic mastery of absence”* and therefore maybe this piece misses substraction though my gut (and my reviewers) tell me to add more. Make it a room.
It feels like a mere illustration of Baudrillard’s The Perfect Crime and sentences like: “The reality has been driven out of reality. Only technology perhaps still binds together the scattered fragments of the real.”* sound like an interpretation of the piece to me and as in the book it leads me to the question “But what has become of the constellation of meaning in all this?”*
Thoughts I had were about the reality distortion field, the real and simulation, the circle of creation and that conservatism will not be transferable and therefore will not be conserved.
