Dreamscape was imagined as a web app that functioned as a game and experience that users could load from a browser. Once a user had loaded the page containing dreamscape, they would be given a story line to follow which takes place along a beach trail. The user would follow instructions to move a long the story line and despite whatever choice the made, the would end up facing a monster. Coming face to face with the monster meant two things, one that they had to face the ultimate worst part of the story and that the story had come to an end. I imagined creating 'Dreamscape' as a way of experiencing alternative space, ultimately the goal was not to 'play' for enjoyment but to set up an experience of journeying through spaces with vividly captured photos.
