    Zach Martinak is a self-released artist from Lebanon OR. Formerly a keyboardist for the art collective Groove Up-Town a Little Ways Yonder; Martinak has since delved into nuanced solo efforts. 

    Beginning with his freshman album Inneractions it was clear Martinak was a fan of fusion; marrying influences of jazz/folk in a vignette of modern electronic sounds. The entirely instrumental album is meant to portray the symbiosis of body and mind. “Most of what I recorded for Inneractions is improvised. I wanted it to be straight from the brain as much as possible, Feelings with no context. The track titles are very thematic, but hopefully the instrumentation is ambiguous in a way that gives a listeners the reins to self-portrait those themes to their own experiences.”
