A swift glance into another, distant world. Inspired by Frank Herbert's Dune. When working on it, I spent hours perfecting the shadowing of the numerous dunes through burning them in overlay layers and changing the their color balance and saturation. I think that it turned out alright, but if I could alter it, I would make the city the only focus of the image.
