AIR PRINCE (2019)
A passion project of mine and one of my favorite pieces.
An artistic mixture of my favorite media, people, and brands, etc.
The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air has always been one of my favorite shows, if not my favorite.
The day to day adventures, heartfelt moments and of course, the immaculate style have greatly inspired me. So it's only right that I pay tribute to the Freshest Prince and his iconic style.
Air Jordan is one of the biggest, if not the biggest icon in sports and worldwide culture as well. It's always been one of my favorites and since The Fresh Prince had his share of fly Jordan kicks, I had to add them to the piece.
There's a lot of Jordan sneakers that appeared in The Fresh Prince, and it's pretty hard to choose one single pair, but I thought it would be the most fitting to include the Fresh Prince and Air Jordan collaboration 'Air Jordan V: Fresh Prince' to my collaboration piece.
The final version of the piece. I took all the elements from the aforementioned things and I put them all together to form this illustration.
With a Nike font, to capture the vintage feeling of a Nike/Air Jordan advertisement poster and the signature Blue and Green colors from the Fresh Prince, this has been one of my favorite pieces and I have been very proud of it.
