A series of short 2D animated loops used as VJ visuals for an event at the Barbican Museum London, as part of their Life Rewired exhibition.
The theme of this exhibition was technology, and how the human experience is changing/will change with ever increasing digital developments.

The project was to create 30 unique animation clips in a team of four. The seven shown here are my contributions. Each animation loop was to feature a primary colour assigned by the museum (in my team's case, pink), and two secondary colours of our own decision, and 10 individual loops were to start and end with the same visual. As the art director as well, I chose the overall style and secondary colours (turquoise and yellow) and provided constant feedback to my team to make sure our individual clips formed a cohesive whole.

The actual clips were to be mixed with live music, but for this compilation I'm using 'Where is My Mind' by the Pixies.

For my clips, I used TV Paint and After Effects. I'm telling a sort of organic/robotic love story, and embrace of technology and the depths of its capabilities.
