Project Brief
Design short or long term 20 rental units for students, young professionals and active, nature lover people. It should stand out but also blend in with its green surrounding.
Location is Tallinn suburb area Nõ mme, where behind is forest, cross-country ski area with various slopes and hills. There is major university area nearby which can attract renters for client.
My responsibility to create architectural concept to fit client brief and local regulations for building.
The project is on building permit process.
Site plan; building kept with minimal footprint on plot to allow users understand and value surrounding natural beauty. Here you can also grasp choice of materials and inspirational content.
Floor plans; units created to balance maximum efficiency of the allowed space by brief.
Roof plan; main identity of building is created by playful slopes
Views; letting strong roof shape manifest as main character by using minimal material combination
