This is a geometric portrait of me. The project is made entirely from a photo of me using only the pen, gradient, and eyedropper tools. 

My process for this project is shown in the below images. Including the lines blocking in the different shades, the dropper tool being used to make each box a singular color, and the background being put in with the gradient tool.

I didn't learn too much from the project the only thing that I really learned was how to use the pen tool a bit better and that you can use the esc button to back out of a line being made. that and more detail isn't always better sometimes just simplifying things makes it a whole lot easier to comprehend.
