My ideation journey started off a bit rocky.  I was trained as a fine artist. But when I declared my minor in Industrial Design I had to essentially relearn how to draw.  My lines are more meaningful, full of power and strength. If I make a line- I make a line. I have not picked up a pencil since I had my first Visual Communication class at CCS- only pens. I try to sketch three brain vomits or little therapy lessons a day.
