The Lion and the Mouse
Based on the Aesop Fable; The Lion and the Mouse, for this project I wanted to depict the essence of the story. Rather than illustrating a specific scene, I wanted to leave the story more ambiguous, and focus instead on the skeptical relationship between the titular Lion and Mouse. I used a combination of digital and traditional illustration, leaving room for text on the right hand side, showing that the piece can easily function in an editorial format.
