For my final option of Café D’Alsace I take my inspiration from the Alsacian landscape and architecture. Heir to multiple influences like France, Germany and Switzerland, timber-framed houses with sloping roofs and exposed beams are found in both the cities and the countryside. Alsace is known for its lush green valleys lined with fir and beech trees.

For the color palette I picked the earthy tones of the interiors so all the hues are in tandem with each other. The fonts are a selection of a dominant western sans serif with a subdued serif. This balances the image of a rustic yet contemporary look.

For the mechandise, the pattern that rounds of the brand image is of a log cut out from its centre. The environmental graphics and the menu graphics have a raw sketched effect that brings out the  feeling of timeless European and warmth.

This option of the identity has the rustic close to nature look of the interiors and brings in the Alsacian region to Café D’Alsace.
