Belle Isle is an area of Detroit where nature reigns supreme. I explored the island while utilizing tools such as a bicycle, notebook, camera, plastic bags & stale bread. Interacting with both the wildlife & the patrons, I decided that Belle Isle was truly an island in both literal & figurative means. It was so vastly different from Detroit in so many ways from the obvious greener scenery to the seemingly nicer people & the overall mood it gives you. Therefore, I designed a poster showcasing how happy it makes you feel, as well as emphasizing how it is a world in itself, despite being a part of a city with a bad reputation.
