My Morning Jacket Show Poster / Ad
This piece was created to serve as a box office and poster advertisement for My Morning Jacket's show at Red Rocks Park & Amphitheatre. I was given a press photo from the band and had to employ compositing techniques to create the image of them superimposed into a second image of the stands at the venue. I then painted swaths of color on a separate layer to achieve the psychedelia effects overlaid and blended on the image created.
The subway pillar / display mockup was then utilized to give the client an idea of how the created piece could be seen in a real-world, high-traffic setting.
