Independent Study
For this task I partnered up with a colleague from college where we contacted a client to work for that may need 3D work.
My main task for the project was creating the visual environments which would stand as a visual display for potential customers, giving any users an example of house conversions then could achieve.
Environmental design
When starting the project I had to make the scene look as real as possible, this involved getting several matters correct, these things to consider were perception, scaling and lighting.
To start I created a basic layout of a loft then added additional models, from there textures were added then finally lighting.
I carried on my work to try out alternative scenes and scenarios with different lighting. This kitchen example became more of test shot for setting up lighting, using Mental Ray, Daylight systems and MR Sky Portals.
