The Junktown Comic Book Project is an organization of comic artists based in Grand Junction, Colorado. I was accepted as a featured artist for the 2019 anthology that debuted at the Mesa County Public Library Comic Con. In addition to a short comic contribution, I created a cover design for the book to be voted on by the community.

The concept for my short comic was a study of hybrid animals. I decided to make up some punny animals to illustrate: the hippopotamoth (part hippo, part insect), sweet peacock (part peacock, part sweet pea flower), whalephant (part elephant, part whale), and the prickly bear (a cactus bear).

I created traditional watercolor sticker designs to celebrate the release of the anthology.
