Amazing Katamari Damacy: Space Beetle

I was tasked with designing a new creature for the Amazing Katamari Damacy (Bandai Namco) mobile game while I was at Paladin Studios. The design was based off of the ball the Katamari uses to roll up various items, but in this scenario the Katamari would get stuck to the shell if they didn't manage to outrun the beetle!
