Abstract
With location-based services on smartphones or navigation sys- tems becoming more and more popular, isn‘t it time to leave the conventional travel guide behind?
BMW Maps takes the idea of cloud-computing across media one step further and offers its clients an overall trip planning.

The objective is to create an user interface for the upcoming webservice BMW Maps, fitting the individual way people plan their trips and accordingly design it for computers, mobile phones and BMW in-car-systems. As a result the user is led by a simple and intuitive interaction as well as a seamless experience throughout the devices.
