Reaction diffusion

Reaction diffusion
Some tests of diffusion reaction I did in Houdini. When I found out about reaction of diffusion,
for me it looked like those patterns were almost alive and that's main idea behind those tests.
Most of animation are 2D and I really wanted to see this in 3D.

I have used Houdini and VEX and made custom solver using Solver SOP and Attribute Wrangle. Really the meat of whole setup is big 3x3x3 discrete Laplace for smoothing attributes done on cubic grid of points (most of sims were done on 400x400x400 grid of points), the rest are various reaction diffusion equations found in siggraph papers and on the net, most of simulations have implemented Gray-Scott model of diffusion, there is also branching morphogenesis model, which can be found here- https://www.researchgate.net/publication/264164948_Mechanisms_of_Side_Branching_and_Tip_Splitting_in_a_Model_of_Branching_Morphogenesis
