The Luck of Being Earnest

The title of the project "The Luck of Being Earnest" is a quotation from Oscar Wilde's famous novel "The Importance of Being Earnest".
Ironically or not, and in any horrible place the protagonist can be found, the idea that he transmits to us is of appropriateness, belonging to himself, despite in reality a person in the flesh like him should be in a place where interaction with the environment and other subjects would be fundamental, therefore this context is making Ernest's actions fundamentally useless.
The question is thus why he continues to behave as Ernest when he no longer exists, but above all the question is if he does well to continue doing so.

The characterization that makes his face unanalyzable but even replaces it with a mono-expressive animal skull makes it possible for us to focus more on what his body language is, which expresses safety and a certain satisfaction in showing it off, even peaceful.

The idea of death is however the main one, a death that has not yet been faced, a body that walks without a head, as if it were a dead man who refuses to die.
All accompanied by an environment that is certainly not the natural habitat of a person which could be the subject in question.
Darkness permeates the whole environment, being defeated only slightly from the only sources and refractions of light present, apparently the place where he is located is totally empty and dark, perhaps the only living (dead) being there is him.
