A scoprire il faro - Photo project
“A scoprire il faro” is a series of portraits made in my hometown Vasto (Italy). Each photoshoot tells about the daily life of people working near the harbor of the city. Following them in their everyday life, I had been in their workspace and I portrayed them using different lenses (35 mm, 50 mm) while they shared with me their story. I also managed the shooting placing them in different parts of the context, according to the sunlight.
TITLE
The title of the project refers to an old swimming competition among local people in my city, who had to swim from the coast until discovering the lighthouse on the horizon.
