The Riot Before are one of those bands who wear their influences on their sleeve, but are instantly recognizable once you hear them. All at once, bits of americana and folk, Springsteen-esque classic rock, midwestern punk, and some good old-fashioned RVA hardcore make themselves known. Combined with dark lyrics that somehow never lose their sense of optimism, The Riot Before's tight jams rocked the party that rocked the party.
