C H A I R | form design
The chair- a story and form about the acceptance of being lost, through embracing insecurities. The form resembles that of nature, but although roughly formed it is molded to hold the human body. The absence of a base shows my resilience and how I am capable of standing, regardless of my imperfections.
"I've realized that there is a certain beauty to feeling incomplete and not knowing what tomorrow brings. This feeling is what keeps me searching for answers and that's really the magic of life. It's not finding happiness but the journey that comes before it. My chair is imperfect and organic like the forms found in nature. I found that the human life is very much like natures process; consisting of different seasons. Like nature, all phases in life are temporary but all result in growth despite the change."
