I was approached by Huw, a real life Indiana Jones (part-time teacher / part-time polar explorer), to contribute a map towards his vision of an atlas of imagined islands. The book contains over 60 beautifully illustrated maps from amazing illustrators, including one of my heroes Chris Riddle. With that invitation how could I say no? I was honoured to add the Isle of Kyklos to this collection, a mysterious island inhabited by tribes of cycling fanatics. I also made my first ever cameo at the bottom right of the map, wearing my world champs jersey!
