Space Rocks
Space is not really empty.
The visualization shows the NEOs, Near-Earth Objects, detected by CNEOS, NASA's Center for Near-Earth Object Studies. The asteroids are arranged according to the passage closest to Earth: horizontally the years, from 1900 to today, and the projections up to 2100; vertically the distance from our planet measured in LD, Lunar Distance (Moon-Earth distance).
