DIGITAL PATTERNS

Digital patterns is a set of experiments trying to search beauty and unexpected patterns by simple and visual algorithms.

Drawings in this section have been created by code using two circumferences as reference and a euclidean transformation rule between their points. Each selected pair of points in primary and secondary geometry establish the position of every dot in the final pattern. By changing input parameters, you can get a new design every time. The algorithm can work with different type of curves in a 3D space finding shapes with unlimited design possibilities. Although you could notice 3D structures in some of these sample images, it is an illusion and they are all in the same plane, created by two co-planar curves.

Work is focused to develop the algorithm with no idea about outcomes.
