For our PRINTMED midterm project, we were given a chance to make a magazine of our choice. I chose a locally based entertainment magazine that would feature local brands, artists, films and other forms of art.
All articles in the magazine were from existing articles available online and were strictly used for educational purposes only.
Here are the series of 4 drafts I made for the magazine's cover which featured the main article of the magazine, the 2019 Pista ng Pelikulang Pilipino.
This was the one that was approved.
I focused on having an unconventional layout for the magazine's text. I try to use this kind of text masking in most of my works.
We were also asked to remake advertisements that would fit the style and concept of our magazine. SPACE was specified on local entertainment, thus focusing on brands that are also advertised here in the Philippines.
