After 2 years of development, Milky Tea launched its second gaming IP, Coffin Dodgers, in May 2016. A dark comedic kart racing game available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Steam. Coffin Dodgers sees life in the slow lane become a fast and furious race for your soul, racing as one of seven retirement village residents challenged to battle the Grim Reaper on “pimped up” mobility scooters.
Designed as the “Mario Kart” for teenage audiences who love hit TV shows like Family Guy and The Simpsons, Coffin Dodgers has unique kart-racing features, including hand-to-hand combat, rag doll physics and the setting of an open 3d world.
Coffin Dodgers is receiving amazing feedback, including 4 Stars on the PlayStation Store. On PC gaming platform Steam the game currently has over 50,000 players and a 74% positive review standing. On YouTube, game reviews have had over 20 million views. The success has led to licensing deals with Fuze in China and Bandi Namco in Japan, while also opening up discussions with Disney and Nickelodeon. This is just the beginning, with VR (Virtual Reality) and mobile versions of the game about to make their debut in 2017.
