The Agency Blog project
Being a relevant content channel on the internet is a hard task nowadays, not because of the subjects or the importance of what you write, but because of the wide range of blogs and social media available everywhere.

When you specialize in a specific target, you maximize your chances to be relevant to them and of course, the content organization matters!

I will show here a solution that I created to participate in a job opportunity (It was a part of the recruitment process). It was a real and a fantastic experience and I would like to share the process that I followed to solve.

Off course the "Agency" name is a fake name to replace the original one, and the colour scheme was changed as well.

The challenge
I decided to use UX Lean methodology to guide the process of this challenge. Firstly, I started working in smaller batches because it helps us to validate assumptions as we go and reduce the risk of wasted work.

Data analysis is pivotal to any design process, however, I could not do interviews or surveys. Fortunately, what I had in hands was enough to validate assumptions and gather hypothesis. So the Agency provided its own information about the users and the blog's traffic.

After creating a persona and the following Lean Ux framework, it is important to establish some assumptions about User Outcomes and Business Outcomes in order to refine and decide what hypothesis we will tackle.
The Lean Ux canvas helps me to make decisions and what to prioritize to start some tests and learn more about the user and the business outcomes. I built the Canvas on Figma and it  is available to view.

The next stage of the project was Wireframe. The Wireframe is essential to lay out content and functionality on a page which takes into account user needs and user journeys. This stage helps to provide a visual understanding of a page early in a project to get stakeholder's and project team's approval.

Although Wireframe provides an early visual that can be used to review with the client, the wireframes do not include any design or account for technical implications, so it is essential to explain effects and stages during the presentation.

Pain Points and Needs:

After some drawings, I could realize that some problems aren't solved yet to follow with the prototype. How we can we help João Alves get the information that he needs on an organized and intuitive way. The solution should meet with the user's problem it is human-centred design, so it's necessary to remember the pain points before going to the high fidelity MVP.
How Might We make the blog content organized and intuitive?
If the blog has categories organized by correct agroupment them, it becomes easier and more intuitive to absorb the content and fast to get it.
Card Sorting applies to a wide variety of activities involving the grouping and/or naming of objects or concepts.

The sorting process provides:

- Terminology (what people call things)
- Relationships (proximity, similarity)
- Categories (groups and their names)

Card Sorting
I used Optimal Workshop tool to build my Card Sorting remotely. I asked 20 users to answer the workshop, but unfortunately, just 10 of them answered all Card sorting section.  After that, it was possible to understand better and to filter the contents and categories and also to discover other pleasing materials from the user and what subject is more relevant.

What I learned from these data:

- Some contents fit in more than one categories.
- Technology, Design and Marketing should have relevance on the blog.
- I should estimate less time to finish the task.

The content categories was ditribuited as showed below:

After some tests and people consulted, this is my interface propose to that challenge. It was a particular project to me because I had an opportunity to work with relevant information from the real "agency" and I could to test some techniques and methodologies to find out a satisfactory result.

I hope you liked this journey as I did and I appreciate for your time spent reading my project. I also expect to receive feedback from you👩‍💻
