My original idea was to take a photo of a car. I had arranged a trip to Germany, over Easter break, before COVID happened. I was going to shoot in a car dealership. Minimum equipment, just my camera, tripod and a compact light for light painting. The idea was to shoot after they close and light paint different parts of the cover over several shots and comp them together and then in the scheduled studio shoot, rent a battery powered kids car and then comp the two things together. I figured I would take both images head on, for minimal disturbances, shot on the same focal length, against dark backgrounds, so I can hide the comping in the shadows. Below are some inspiration images by different photographers, that I had found.

First is the Mercedes Benz EQ-A Showcar by Team AKKA CONCEPT Studios. The two dark shots are the main inspiration.
