Ted Baker is a British clothing designer who uses a unique blend of kitchy patterns with a classic fit. The challenge of this campaign was to reintroduce the designer to the American fashion scene. This campaign is all about imbracing the quirkiness of the British brand by creating a British takeover in metropolitian areas.
British style telephone booths would appear in high traffic areas and covered in Ted Baker prints. Inside the booth Biritsh jokes would be playing from the telephone.
In areas where the telephone public signs would be graffitied with British words.
The Ted Baker persona would pay randomly pick up tabs for people with good style. The waiter or bar tender would return the bill with this business card rather than a receipt.
Ted Baker's British Takeover app has two options, 1) "Get Tedified" (above) or 2) "Tag Ted" (below). By choosing "Get Tedified" you can upload your own or a friend's picture and Ted will comment on it. If he likes your style he will give you a nice compliment, if not he will give you a funny insult in British style. By choosing "Tag Ted," Ted will insert himself in your picture.
