The task for this project was short, but incredibly complex: create a movie poster, without using the computer. The project forced us to think about typography differently and consider how we may be able to construct type out of physical things, while instantly being understood as a part of that move on its own.

This project took multiple phases, from planning to prototyping to production, and finally photography. Each phase needed to be taken with extreme care, the idea that was so easy to draw suddenly became so complex when working on it in real life. Every stitch, every camera placement, every lighting change, every photograph needed to do its job to increase the readability of the project and make the end result beautiful.
