My fall 2014 collection was inspired by shattered skyscrapers. I was inspired by the way the light reflects off of glass to create the illusion of different prints. The sharp and jagged edges that broken glass creates also can be refected in the sharp style lines I have created within my silhouettes. The color palate I wanted to focus on was blacks and whites to give a sleek and sophisticated vibe. My customer is a working women who wants to look polished at all times, whether that means going to the office, or out for drinks with friends after hours. I excel in mixing different textiles so for this collection i focused on mixing tweeds and wools with a variety of sheer fabrics along with using some silks.
