Kirtimukha Postcard Project
Postcard series "Kirtimukha" is a collection of postcard with artwork inspired by bas relief of various Javanese temples that combined with various coloring.
There are 12 postcard images that made from ornament of 9 pas reliefs from 6 temple complexes from Central Java, Special Region of Yogyakarta, and East Java provinces.
Kirtimukha or face of glory is a term to mention "kalamakara" faces that usually located at doors or niches of Javanese temples. This postcard series is named Kirtimukha to represents bas relief of various Javanese temples.
