For this project, we were told to pick some parts of Detroit that we found interesting. One thing that grabbed my attention was all of the abandoned buildings. It's unreal how many buildings there are. I saw it as a modern-day ghost town, just the forgotten remnants of a once great city. All I wanted to do was tell the story of this place. It was as if half of the people had just up and left, leaving whatever mess they had created behind them to sit and rot. So I made the "Abandoned City Tour" just to get people to see what happened and to tell a bit of the story. This was a fantastic project because I got to do so much for it especially creating vector illustrations for many parts. For me, that was the best part just because there was so much I got to do and make, and I learned so much in the process.

What has been incredible is that many of these buildings have been renovated and are experiencing new life.
