Summer 2010 Poster / Merchandise - The Shadow Art fair is an amazing event that happens twice a year in Ypsilanti, MI. It only costs two cents to get in & has plenty to offer for any one. There was a poster contest & I figured that I’d give it a shot. My design got picked & was later printed on paper & t-shirts! The general idea is a pretty simple one. Shadows are scary, so I made a monster out of a shadow on the paper (using a darker orange on a lighter orange) mixed with handmade typography & simple hierarchy. It was a big hit!
